The Brickfields Site.
Where do we meet?
Our services and many other events take place at "Brickfields", either in the main building or in "The Annexe".
The address:
12-16 Cheddars Lane,
Cambridge,
CB5 8LD
Cheddars Lane is a turning off Newmarket Road, next to The Wrestlers pub/restaurant and opposite the Currys entrance to Cambridge Retail Park.
If you take the right-fork on Cheddars Lane, before entering Tesco's car park, you'll find Brickfields on your right after the Hyundai garage.
Large events and most services take place in the silver warehouse. Smaller events and some children's groups meet in "The Annexe" – the smaller building in the foreground of the photo above.
Parking:
There is some parking available on the Brickfields site (approx 20 spaces + 2 disabled spaces). If that car park becomes full, it is often possible to park on Cheddars Lane, avoiding the yellow lines and marked "No Parking" areas. Tesco (next door) allows free parking for up to 3 hours*. If you're coming for the day for a large event, you may like to consider using Newmarket Road Park and Ride – the bus comes past the end of Cheddars Lane and can drop you off by the Retail Park.
*Tesco parking restrictions correct as of March 2022. Please check their car park signage for up-to-date information
Public Transport:
Brickfields is approximately 30 minutes walk from both Cambridge Station and Cambridge North.
The Citi3 bus runs from Cambridge Station, via the town centre, and along Newmarket Road. Disembark at either the stop for Tesco or for Aldi.
Walking/cycling:
If you're coming on foot/bike, you can come along Newmarket Road, but you can also come along Riverside. From the river, take the cyclepath uphill, along the side of Cambridge Museum of Technology (their tower is a useful landmark!), then bear left at the top, instead of turning into the Tesco site. Brickfields is to the right of The Shed Factory.
