This year, we'll have two services every Sunday. 9.30am & 11.30am.
There are three special services over the festive period:
The Carol Service – Friday 13th december, 7.30pm for 8pm
An opportunity to celebrate the birth of Jesus through singing carols, listening to Scripture and immersing ourselves in God’s story of salvation.
family nativity – saturday 14th december, 4pm
Fun nativity service for all the family, re-telling the Christmas story and involving everyone who would like to take part! The service will be no more than an hour, with songs to sing and lots of fun. It will be followed by a free meal for everyone!
The event is free but please get tickets in advance (for catering purposes). Tickets are available on Sundays (24/11 & 1/12), at City Bus, or from the church office (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Nativity costumes are encouraged (for grown ups too!)
christmas day – tuesday 25th december, 10.30am
A short celebration of Christmas morning!
Collection of items for the Christmas hampers will take place on Sundays 2nd and 9th December at Brickfields. Donations of non-perishable, quality groceries, chocs, treats, toiletries, batteries and Christmassy items are very welcome.
Hampers will be assembled and distributed on Tuesday 11th December from 6pm-8pm. Click here for further details and to sign up to help.
On Friday 13th December and Sunday 15th December, we'll be taking our Christmas offering. As a church family we've been really generous in giving to specific needs on top of our regular giving (e.g. to build the Annexe!). This Christmas we have the opportunity to support Pathways from Poverty – supporting empowerment projects in the UK and mainland Europe.
You can also give by bank transfer to City Church using the reference "Christmas".
