YOUTH

WHAT: YOUTH GROUP FOR SCHOOL YEARS 7-13
WHERE: BRICKFIELDS
CONTACT: youth@Citychurchcambridge.org.uk
LEADERS: luke & Beth Sears

WHO ARE WE?

City Church Youth exists to disciple and encourage young people aged 11-18 to grow in their understanding and experience of Jesus. We aim to be a place where you can ask questions, experience God’s grace and Holy Spirit, and build lasting relationships with others your own age. We also aim to have a whole lot of fun along the way! All our regular sessions are free and open to anyone youth-age.

Luke and Beth bring several years of experience in youth work, along with lots of energy, to City Church Youth. When not leading youth sessions, Luke works as an engineer and Beth works as a nurse.

WHAT DO WE DO?

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Years 7-9: During the talk in the 11.30am service, we meet together in the Annexe to look at the Bible, have food and drinks, and pray for one another, with fun activities and games mixed in!

Years 10-13: Join with church family as part of the main service.

SUNDAY EVENINGS

Years 10-13: A relaxed evening once a week looking at and discussing topics chosen by the youth themselves, in Luke and Beth's home. For more info about this or for the address please contact us.

MENTORING

Years 10-13: For regular members of the group we look to provide them with an older Christian for encouragement, support and accountability in their Christian faith. Generally people meet up around once a month.

WEEKENDS AWAY

Years 7-13: Once (or sometimes twice!) a year we go away together for a whole weekend to have fun, build friendships and go deeper with God.

NEWDAY

One week in August – a massive youth festival (around 6000 young people) with great teaching, big worship, fun cafes, sports, social outreach and more!
