week of prayer

Below you'll find suggested prayer topics to focus on in your prayers today.

We're meeting this evening 7.45pm - 8.45pm in the Main Hall, but teas and coffees will be available from 7.30pm. It will be lovely to see you there, if you can make it.

Revival – Prepare

Many have sensed that God is going to move in a powerful way in the UK in a way that is 'unprecedented' and will be 'suddenly'.  But revival starts in the church with God’s people and so now is the time to earnestly come before God asking Him to do a deep work within us.  It is also a time of practical preparation so that when God moves powerfully we are ready.

"for I am about to unleash the mightiest move of my Spirit you have ever seen!" Karen Snyder, 1998

"An increased outpouring of the Spirit is coming – clouds of future blessing are gathering overhead. God wants to ask us – as it starts to rain, will we press, knowing that he will drench us with his Spirit? Or will we turn back and miss what he is about to do?" Nick Green, 2006

"I feel God would say you are to enter a season as a church where you will see amazing harvests of the unsaved in numbers unprecedented in the history of this church; and even not seen for generations in this City."  Andrew Lawrence, 2011

"I believe that God really going to begin to bring a new dynamic in terms of evangelism to this church. Where in the past it has been primarily evangelistic strategy that has been aimed at the mind and the emotions of people. I believe in this next season it’s going to be aimed at the supernatural activity of God in this church. I really want to encourage you to position yourselves and prepare yourselves for increase because it’s going to involve every one of us, Amen. And I really feel like there is such significant momentum. You guys are not going to know what to do with yourselves as God begins to increase and bring blessing." Julian Adams, May 2012
